Creating an account on AuResources is quick and flexible. The platform supports multiple sign-in methods, allowing you to choose the option that works best for you.
The entire process takes less than 2 minutes. Account creation is free and requires minimal information to get started.

### Requirements
**Age Requirement**
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use the platform.
**Supported Jurisdictions**
The platform is available in most countries. Access may be restricted in certain jurisdictions due to local regulations.

### Sign-In Methods
Option 1: Wallet Connection
If you already have a cryptocurrency wallet, you can connect it directly to the platform.
**Supported Wallets (400+)**
Popular options include:
* MetaMask
* Trust Wallet
* Coinbase Wallet
* WalletConnect-compatible wallets
* Many others
**How It Works:**
1. Click "Sign In / Sign Up" (top right corner)
2. Select an installed wallet or click "All wallets"
3. Choose your wallet from the list
4. Approve the connection in your wallet
5. You're signed in
**Benefits:**
* Use your existing wallet
* Full control over private keys
* Direct blockchain interaction
* No additional setup needed
**Requirements:**
* Wallet must be installed and set up
* Wallet must support Polygon PoS network
* You must have access to your wallet's approval mechanism
Option 2: Email Sign-In (Passwordless)
Sign in using just your email address. No password to remember.
**How It Works:**
1. Click "Sign In / Sign Up" (top right corner)
2. Select "Email"
3. Enter your email address
4. Check your email for a verification code
5. Enter the code
6. You're signed in
**Benefits:**
* No password to remember or manage
* Quick access from any device
* Automatic wallet creation (via Web3Auth)
* No wallet extension needed
**What Happens:**
When you sign in with email, Web3Auth (owned by MetaMask) automatically creates a wallet address for you in the background. This wallet allows you to:
* Receive tokens
* Use all platform features
* Interact with blockchain
* Access DeFi functionality
You don't need to install any wallet software or browser extensions.
**Security:**
Each time you sign in, you'll receive a fresh verification code, ensuring secure access without password vulnerabilities.
Option 3: Social Sign-On (SSO)
Use your existing social media accounts to sign in.
**Supported Services (10+), including:**
* Google
* Facebook
* X (Twitter)
* And others
**How It Works:**
1. Click "Sign In / Sign Up" (top right corner)
2. Select your preferred social service
3. Authorize AuResources to verify your identity
4. You're signed in
**Benefits:**
* One-click access
* Use existing trusted accounts
* Automatic wallet creation (via Web3Auth)
* No additional credentials to manage
**What Happens:**
Similar to email sign-in, Web3Auth creates a wallet address for you automatically. You get full platform functionality without installing wallet software.
**Privacy:**
AuResources only uses your social account for authentication. The platform doesn't access your social media data or post on your behalf.
### Personal Information and Privacy
#### No Personal Information Required
For basic platform use and cryptocurrency purchases:
* No name required
* No address required
* No phone number required
* No identification documents needed
Your wallet address is your identity on the platform.
#### When KYC is Required
**Credit/Debit Card Payments Only**
If you choose to pay with credit or debit card:
* Stripe (payment processor) requires KYC information
* This is a standard requirement for card payments
* Stripe processes and stores this information
* AuResources does not have access to this data
**Information Stripe May Require:**
* Full name
* Billing address
* Card details
* Identity verification
This is handled entirely through Stripe's secure payment flow.
**Physical Delivery**
If you want to claim physical commodities at maturity:
* KYC verification is required
* This happens only when you request delivery
* Not required for token purchases or holding

#### Privacy Protection
**What AuResources Stores:**
* Your chosen authentication method (email, wallet address, or SSO identifier)
* Transaction history
* Token holdings
* Platform activity
**What AuResources Does NOT Store:**
* Passwords (email sign-in is passwordless)
* Private keys (managed by your wallet or Web3Auth)
* Credit card information (handled by Stripe)
* Unnecessary personal information
